By integrating arts-based methods with urban planning and community participation, we aim to transform public spaces and foster the sustainable growth of communities.

Project

Proyecto Zacamil is a regenerative placemaking project focused on revitalizing public spaces in the heart of Colonia Zacamil. Curated by Custom Made Stories (CMS), it aims to create tailored initiatives that address community needs, prioritising art as a tool for social change.

The project employs a three-pronged approach centred on community participation, strengthening social bonds, and creating economic opportunities for lasting change through initiatives such as co-design workshops and participatory decision-making to ensure community representation and foster local ownership in every step.

It also aims to transform Zacamil into an urban landmark by creating an open-air museum with public art interventions while offering training programs for the community focused on building sustainable growth..
